Lars joined military service after his school days. He completed the basic military duties for nine months in Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) which is an infantry regiment of the Danish army's Danish army. He wasn't sure if the military was right for him, and so he started to search for something else and eventually decided to go into biology. Anette who had been working for the military for over a year, came home from a class for jugglers to show Lars how she could juggle after just three days. Lars was amazed and was determined to try it. So he dropped out of college and joined the juggler's academy as well. He was trained in fire breathing and juggling at this school. After that, he traveled with two other friends as touring artists throughout Europe performing in cities like Paris, Munich, Moscow and Warsaw. Two years later he came into contact with a children's circus, where he additionally learned pantomime as well as street and children's theater.
